SMNF: 54% of bosses expect an increase in activity in Q3 | Conso news

The expectations of business leaders in the non-financial market services sector (SMNF), for the 3rd quarter of 2022, reveal an increase in overall activity, according to 54% of them and a drop after 10%, indicates the High Commission for Planning (HCP).

These anticipations would be due, on the one hand, to the expected improvement in the activities of “Accommodation and Catering”, “Air Transport”, “Land Transport and Pipeline Transport” and “Water Transport” and , on the other hand, the expected decline in “Architecture and engineering activities; control activities and technical analyses”, explains the HCP in a note on the quarterly business tendency surveys for the SMNF and wholesale trade sectors.

And to add that 47% of business leaders anticipate an increase in demand and 26% an increase in the number of employees. Regarding cash flow, 20% of business leaders find it difficult.

In the 2nd quarter of 2022, the activity of SMNF would have increased according to 68% of the bosses, reports the HCP. This development would have been the result of the increase in the activities of “Accommodation and Catering”, “Air Transport”, “Land Transport and Transport by Pipes” and “Telecommunications”, he notes.

With regard to the rate of use of the capacities of service (TUC) of the sector, it would have been established at 74%.

The sector’s order books are judged to be normal by 70% of bosses and below normal by 22%, while employment has increased by 27% of business leaders.
