With the gradual return to activities from June, the agencies are preparing cleaning protocols and sanitation to give customers greater peace of mind.
At Peugeot de México both workshops and agencies will implement constant sanitation standards, a healthy distance between workers and customers, even with polycarbonate barriers.
For the test drive, the car will be sanitized before and after the test, and only two people can go on board: the customer at the wheel and the seller in the back.

In a virtual conference, Igor Dumas, CEO of Peugeot de México, explained that the dealer network is already training to apply these measures and will be audited by the automaker every fortnight.
“We are going to reopen progressively respecting the law and our own standards Covid-19. We could return in June with the traffic lights defined by the government, in Guadalajara it could be next week.
“The fear of people to use public transport can push the possession of a vehicle, the shared car is less desired today than yesterday, and there will be a phenomenon of several people who prefer individual mobility,” said Dumas.
The company also launched an online store where consumers can view available vehicle inventory, by color and version, within 500 kilometers.
In the Peugeot E-Store the vehicle can be separated with a credit card and the documents will be sent via email with the scanned information.
“To verify the validity of the documentation, we already do it remotely, they are even scanned by a telephone application, it is processed internally.
“And what has to be done physically, such as the signature for financing, an executive can go to the client’s home with all the protocol of not touching anything and sanitizing the documentation,” explained Gerardo Carmona, Marketing Director of Peugeot de Mexico.
Through the online store, the automaker wants 5% of its total sales to be through this channel.
