Some 14,000 Menorcans have not yet been vaccinated against the coronavirus

When the administration of the third dose has already started, a total of 14,042 Menorcans have not yet been vaccinated against the coronavirus. This is the latest data published by the Menorca Health Area about the vaccination campaign.

Since September, when the major vaccination points at the Maó fairgrounds and the multipurpose room of Canal Salat in Ciutadella closed, the campaign has slowed down and its progress has been stalled. So much so that 1,000 people have been vaccinated in the last monthAccording to the Health Area, a figure that was reached in just one day at the time of maximum vaccination intensity, in July.

By age group, it is the group between 30 and 39 years old with the highest number without vaccinated, with 3,997. In that of 40 to 49, 3,328 are pending. On the other hand, among the youngest the figures are lower, with 1,012 unvaccinated people between 12 and 15 years old and 716 in those between 16 and 19.
