Detectives raided the army barracks of Florennes, Sint-Truiden and Heverlee on Wednesday morning. In the crosshairs: five soldiers who have been followed for a while for their right-wing extremist talk online. More than four months after the death of Jürgen Conings, the Ministry of Defense and the federal prosecutor’s office are sending the message that (alleged) neo-Nazis have no place in the army.
