The football players of Sparta Prague under the age of 19 drew in the rematch of the 1st round of the Youth League, which is the youth equivalent of the Champions League, with MTK Budapest 3: 3 and said goodbye to the competition. In the opening outdoor match, the Prague team lost to the Hungarian opponent 1: 3.

The young men from Letna did not confirm the role of a clear favorite even in the second duel with MTK. Although the Spartans led three times at the Viktorie Žižkov stadium, the Hungarian opponent was able to equalize every time. The final goal of the guests from the penultimate minute, after which the Prague team lost hope of a reversal.

The team from Budapest advanced to the 2nd round, from which eight winners will qualify for the playoffs, where they will join the eight teams that will take second place in the group stage. The Youth League is divided into two branches. The Czech maximum in the competition is held by Příbram, which reached the round of 16 in the 2015/16 season.
