This Tuesday stage 16 of the Tour of Francia, between La Tour du Pin and Villard de Lans, over 164 km, in which the victory went to the German Lennard Kämna, while Primoz Roglic is the leader; Tadej Pogacar, second; Rigoberto Uran is third and Miguel Lopez, fourth.

The day was characterized, in the first kilometers, for a constant work in search of the escape.
At the end, at km 44, the group of escapees was formed by Andrey Amador, Richard Carapaz, Lennard Kämna, Daniel Oss, Julian Alaphilippe, Sebastien Reichenbach, Alberto Bettiol, Winner Anacona, Warren Barguil, Imanol Erviti, Carlos Verona, Matteo Trentin, Chris Juul-Jensen, Nicholas Roche and Quentin Pacher. Leading group at 3 min 30 s.
Roche and Rolland went on tip, in search of mountain award points. The chasing lot was 20 s away and the leader 9 min 22 s.
Then, 23 cyclists made the break, with a difference of 10 min 15 s, which later rose to 11:21 on the Roglic lot, where the Colombians were Urán, López, Nairo and Egan Bernal.

The latter, who defends the title, ran out of batch when the ascent to the top-notch mountain award began, 30 km from the finish line.
Kämna jumped off the lot, after Carapaz’s wheel, but the German finished the fraction better and won the stage. By that time, Egan was losing 23 minutes.
The leading lot, headed by López, yielded 16 min 50 s.
