It comes from this survey carried out in the Netherlands in 2016 that a cold shower at the start of the day is best energy supplier. It will give you a feeling of well being (pleasant for you as well as for your environment) and it is also good for your blood vessels and your skin. So there is little reason to skip this cold shower! Even if people with heart conditions and the elderly should be careful because this ‘energy boost’ may be too much for them.
HERE’S HOW TO TAKE A COLD SHOWER!
1. Take a shower early in the morning after waking up. Don’t think about it, just do it!
2. At the end of your shower, turn the tap at once on the cold (about 20 degrees) …
3. Continue this for 2-3 minutes. It’s not always obvious but it’s worth it and it will be over before you even know it! No pain, no gain! 🙂
Result: an indescribable feeling! You feel refreshed and refreshed and you are ready to have a productive and active day!
