SERAMBINEWS.COM – At least 15 models who were posing naked in a skyscraper were arrested by police in Dubai
They were arrested for allegedly conducting public debauchery over a widely shared video showing naked women posing on balconies in the city.
Violations of public decency law in the United Arab Emirates, including nudity and other indecent behavior, are punishable by up to six months in prison and a fine of 5,000 dirhams or around IDR 20 million (exchange rate IDR 4,000 / Dubai dirham).
Sharing pornographic material is also punishable by imprisonment and a fine of up to 500,000 dirhams (IDR 2 billion) under state law, which is based on Islamic law, or Sharia.
The 15 models in the nude photoshoot were part of a publicity stunt for the Israeli website, The Sun reported.
The site is believed to be an as yet unnamed version of the US adult site.

Quoted by the Daily Mail, Monday (5/4/2021), late at night, videos and photos depicting more than a dozen naked beauties lined up on balconies while being filmed in Dubai’s upscale neighborhood in broad daylight spread across social media.
This is surprising in the federation of the seven Arab kingdoms, where behaviors such as kissing in public or drinking alcohol without permission have landed people in prison.
The state-linked newspaper The National reported that it appeared to be a publicity stunt, without elaborating.
