Summer is preparing its grand finale and you might like it

Good news

The next few weeks promise to be quite pleasant as far as temperatures are concerned. If you hate high humidity, be aware that a bottom of dry air should dominate during the second and third weeks of the month. First, the mercury should stay close to seasonal norms. Thereafter, a gradual rise is expected thanks to an influx of warmer air from Western Canada.

less humidity

A particular atmospheric context could protect Quebec from the humidity of the Gulf of Mexico. Cooler temperatures in the southern United States would have the effect of blocking attempts at humidity surges.

August ends strong

Current models are calling for a rather summery scenario for the end of the month. Indeed, a release of the heat from the southern United States could favor a rise in humidity as far as Quebec towards the end of August and even in September. The province could therefore experience highs of 30°C from time to time. However, the probability of a heat wave seems quite low.
