Tesla Electric Founder Elon Musk threatened to move his company’s headquarters and factory out of California after the authorities prevented him from resuming production due to the emerging Corona virus.
“Frankly, this is the drop that overflowed the cup. Tesla will now move its headquarters and future programs to Texas / Nevada, immediately,” Mask said in a long post on Twitter Saturday evening. But that may be one of several threats the investor has made on the Internet without being implemented.
Frankly, this is the final straw. Tesla will now move its HQ and future programs to Texas / Nevada immediately. If we even retain Fremont manufacturing activity at all, it will be dependen on how Tesla is treated in the future. Tesla is the last carmaker left in CA.

Referring to California where his cars are made, he said: “If we keep manufacturing activity in Vermont, it will depend on how Tesla is treated in the future.”
It is reported that the company was hoping to reopen its California plant, which is the only one in the United States, in early May, but that the authorities prevented it.
Threatening to sue Alameda County
Mask also drew attention to the company’s experience in China, where electric car production resumed after controlling the spread of the Covid-19 epidemic.
The wealthy and well-known businessman quickly threatened his anger and daring to sue “immediately” the Alameda district in which the factory is located, accusing its authorities of being “irrational and separate from reality.” He considered that the district health official acted in contrast to “the ruler, the president, constitutional freedoms and common sense!”
To that, Mask made a fuss just over a week ago on a Twitter post saying that Tesla shares were overrated.
A few days earlier, during a press conference on the company’s financial situation, he considered the restrictions imposed to contain the virus “an outbreak”.
Tesla made modest but surprising profits of $ 16 million in the first quarter of the year.
