The absence of Ronaldo continues from the Portugal list

Cristiano Ronaldo was left out of the Portugal squad for World Cup qualification on Thursday against Italy and Poland.

The 33-year-old Ronaldo missed the team after the exit of the 2018 World Cup in Russia by Uruguay (1-2). The justification for his absence from the first two games after the World Cup was his need to focus on adapting to Juventus, who joined Real Madrid this summer for a meeting of around 100 million euros.

"The only thing I can say is that it is worth the gold ball", the France Football magazine will give next month to the best football player in the world, and Ronaldo has won five times last year, has called Santos.

"This is all that matters now."

The former Manchester United player was recently accused by former US model Katharine Maiorga for raping her at his Las Vegas hotel in 2009, which he denied.

The Portuguese are preparing for two games this month in the UEFA Champions League, the first against Italy in Milan on 17 November and the second against Poland in Guimaraes on the 20th.
