The popular genre of battle royale is about to receive a new contender of the most unexpected. So much so that Bandai Namco Entertainment has presented My Hero Academia: Ultra Rumble, a new free to play for up to 24 players based on such popular manganime. This has been shared by those responsible through the latest issue of the magazine Weekly Jump in Japan, as collected by the Gematsu medium. At the moment no launch window has been confirmed, although we do know that it will arrive in PC (Steam), PS4, Xbox One Y Switch (with next generation compatibility) coming soon.
My Hero Academia en clave battle royale
And it is that after the disparate success of all kinds of titles that bet on battle royale, such as the most famous Fortnite, Apex Legends The PUBG: Battlegrounds (remember that the latter made the leap to free to play recently), now Bandai Namco Entertainment intends to get its share of the cake with a license as famous as My Hero Academia, a franchise already common in the video game sector that has opted for its particular vision of the fighting genre and that now intends to gain a foothold in that of “there can only be one”.
At the moment the information that is being considered is rather scarce: “Join to win in a multiplayer action battle against 24 players”, can be read in the Japanese magazine where the title has been presented, confirming that, in any case, is it an F2P or free to play. And it is that unlike other battle royale that point to a hundred players per game, in this case they remain in open confrontations for a maximum of 24.
Be that as it may, in the first screenshots published by Weekly Jump we can already see some of the most recognizable characters from the original work, such as Izuki Midoriya, All Might, Tomura Shigaraki The Shoto Idoroki, deploying some of his usual combat techniques in a crazy all against all..
At the moment there is no date for the beta either, although it is expected that more information will begin to be shared soon once the beta is enabled. Web page official of My Hero Academia: Ultra Rumble.
