The average age of Mexican soccer teams

In soccer, much is said about the age of each player. Although the most important thing is to analyze each item separately, it takes relevance to see its maturity, physical performance and resale value, among other aspects to consider.

Opta released a report with the average age of each set in Liga MX. Some conclusions can be drawn from these data.

The youngest cast in the championship is Atlas, 25 years old and 166 days on average. Pumas, Tijuana and Querétaro follow.

Chivas, with 26 years and 167 days of average, is located in the seventh position. For its part, America is tenth and Cruz Azul eleventh.

In the 14th place Monterrey appears, while Tigres presents the longest-standing squad, on average, in the Liga MX: 29 years and 210 days.
