The bullfighting fair of the Virgin of San Lorenzo de Valladolid, which will be held between September 2 and 10 with a bullfighting contest, a rejoneo and four bullfights, will once again have the support and institutional “presence” of the City Hall of the capital, governed by PP and Vox, “normally”.
This was highlighted this Thursday at the presentation of the fair’s poster by both the director of Tauroemoción Alberto García and the new mayor of the city, the ‘popular’ Jesús Julio Carnero, in an act in which the Minister of Culture also participated and Tourism of the Board and representative of Vox, Gonzalo Santonja, and the deputy mayor, of that same formation, Irene Carvajal, as well as the former mayor of the city Francisco Javier León de la Riva.
Alberto García has stressed that it is a pleasure to be able to count on the presence and support of the City Council “normally” at the presentation of this act.
It should be remembered that during the last eight years of the government of the PSOE and Valladolid Takes the Word, the Valladolid City Council had not had a presence nor had it supported institutionally or financially the actions carried out in the bullring of Paseo de Zorrilla.
This Thursday the new municipal executive of PP and Vox has staged that support with the presence of Carnero and Carvajal at the presentation of the poster, something that the mayor has committed and that, he has assured, he does not need to explain. “What needs an explanation is not being there,” he added.
