The creator of "Left 4 Dead" makes a new zombie game. Reedus

Turtle Rock Studios, the creators of Left 4 Dead and Evolve, announced a new cooperative zombie shooter, to be released by Warner Bros. Games. "Back 4 Blood" is a quality shooter that has many new features and technologies of the modern generation. The "premium" title excludes the possibility of a free game at the time of the launch.

The study avoids questions about content after launch or microtransactions, but points out that Back 4 Blood is a new original brand that is not associated with Left 4 Dead. The developers also report that the game will have a campaign and a PVP, but it's not a real battle.

Creative director Phil Robb said the studio is expanding its team and is using what it has learned in the past for this new project. Meanwhile, design director Chris Ashton pointed out that the team has long thought about this project.

It is difficult to overestimate how amazing this opportunity is. Let's go back to the genre that was born in our studio with more than a decade of experience and ideas on zombies that have accumulated in our brain. We also have some of WBIE's best business partners who understand our development process and are equally committed to our player-oriented mentality. – Chris is sharing.

The game is currently under development for PC, Xbox One and PS4. No version or beta test has yet been planned.
