A 96-year-old woman from Alguazas (Murcia) has died in the hospital Morales Meseguer this weekend as a result of the serious bites given to her last Tuesday by two dogs that attacked her in The place, according to municipal sources.
The animals bit the woman all over her body, tearing her arms, without the health workers who came in an ambulance being able to treat her until the owners of the two dogs arrived and managed to stop their aggression and calm them down.
According to the city council, these events that took place last Tuesday afternoon “are unacceptable and the irresponsibility of some people in complying with the rules on animal ownership have caused damage that is irreparable,” said the mayor, José Gabriel García.
The Alguazas City Council sanctioned the owners of the animals and in the investigation of the files, according to the council, “exemplary measures will be taken against the guilty parties.”
