The Minister of Industry, Commerce and Employment of the Government of Castilla y León, Mariano Veganzones (Vox), assured this Wednesday that one of the tasks of the administration is “motivate those people who are on the couch at home waiting for a subsidy” so that they can look for a job.
“The administration cannot do everything. It is a socialist myth,” the counselor told the media at the presentation of the TANDEM Employment and Business Fair in Segovia.
For this reason, Veganzones has stressed that “public-private collaboration is essential” and has expressed its support for the statements of the vice president of the Board, Juan García-Gallardo, on “excessive aid” of the administrations: “We have to motivate those people who are on the couch at home waiting for a subsidy with these fairs,” he stressed.
Veganzones already said in October 2022 in a plenary session of the Cortes on the Immigration Regulation that in Castilla y León there is no shortage of workers, to later add that what is missing is “the desire to work”
