The coach of Madagascar, Nicolas DePoy, expressed his happiness with the performance shown by his players during the African Cup of Nations matches (Egypt 2019), despite leaving the continental championship after losing in Tunisia .
Madagascar lost the African championship after losing 3-0 in Tunisia on Thursday night at the end of the quarter-finals.
"The game was tough and we are proud to have lost this role in our first African Nations Cup," DeBoy told the press conference after the meeting. "I don't know if I will continue or not after goodbye.
"We were very tired and today we were not able to play an important game, but I would like to assure everyone that we are on the threshold of seeing a great team in the future, I am very sad and I appreciate what the masses of Madagascar have done to us, to the officials and to the president ".
"We were able to complete the journey and I am proud of the players: for the first time we face a team from North Africa, we had to realize that Tunisia is a good team and has a great coach.
