Samsung Galaxy S21 y S21 Ultra They aim to be the next high-end phones from Samsung. The new generation will arrive in early 2021 if the release sheet that we have seen in previous years is maintained. However, until this date arrives, the occasional leak will appear on them. Today’s shows us its renewed design with a thicker camera system and flat screen.
The leak comes from the hand of Steve Hemmerstoffer (known as @OnLeaks). Although in its favor it has a huge history of successes in terms of phone leaks, they are still not final or official designs. However, it allows us see what we can expect for the next few months from Samsung. Let’s see what the Samsung Galaxy S21 and S21 Ultra could bring.
Slight design changes where the camera system stands out
According to the renders published by @OnLeaks of the Galaxy S21 and from S21 Ultra, we hardly see differences on the front with respect to the current generation of the Galaxy S20. A hole for the front camera is kept and sizes 6.2 inches for the S21 and about 6.9 inches for the S21 Ultra.
We see the important changes on the back of the phone, specifically in the camera system. In the S21 there are a total of three lenses while in the S21 Ultra there are up to four lenses. The bulge of the camera system now however it has changed, stop being an “island” to join directly with the edge of the upper left corner. This bulge for cameras is expected to be about 1.1mm on the S21 and 1.9mm on the S21 Ultra.
OnLeaks typically gets CAD drawings of future phones from manufacturers and draws conclusions from their features. These CAD designs are used to create 3D models and have the exact measurements of the product. That is why while you do not have details of battery capacity or internal specifications, you can confidently state what your exact measurements will be. He S21 will measure 151.7 x 71.2 x 7.9mm while the S21 Ultra will measure 165.1 x 75.6 x 8.9mm.
At the moment however they are only renderings and no official data from Samsung. This time they are expected to be submitted a little earlier than normal, in January 2021. Now it remains to be seen how many versions exactly, colors, internal specifications and especially final prices. We’ll find out in a few months, or sooner if more leaks appear.
