The glaucoma bus is in Pau until Thursday

It is possible to be screened for free for glaucoma until Thursday in Pau.

In France, nearly a million people suffer from glaucoma, half of whom do not yet know it. An observation that prompted Unadev (National Union of the Blind and Visually Impaired) to set up a “glaucoma bus” in which the association offers free screenings.

Local ophthalmologists are also present to ensure screening, without an appointment. Screenings are mainly aimed at people over 40.

The glaucoma bus is located at Place de Verdun, on the Cours Camou side. It will be open this Wednesday and Thursday from 9 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. and from 2 p.m. to 5:30 p.m.
