The heat is here to stay and, with the month of June approaching, all we can think about is the beach and sunbathing. Well, this week will be ideal for people from Seixal who want to go for a swim. Although there will still be some clouds in the sky, temperatures will be even higher, even reaching 31 degrees.

According to the forecasts of the Portuguese Institute of the Sea and the Atmosphere (IPMA), this Monday, May 15, is the coldest day of the week, with a maximum of 25 degrees and a minimum of 14. On the other hand, and although the slightly cloudy sky does not show it, it is the day when ultraviolet radiation will be at its highest, with an index of nine. So don’t forget your sunglasses, sunscreen and try to avoid sun exposure for a long time.

Tuesday, May 16th is the most anticipated day of the week. With the thermometers reaching 31 degrees, it’s the perfect occasion to go for a swim at Praia do Seixal. The minimum temperature remains, as well as the clouds in the sky. Already the ultraviolet radiation index decreases to eight, which is still very high, so take the same precautions.

On Wednesday, May 17, the thermometers remain at 30 degrees, with an increase in the minimum temperature to 17 degrees. What is also expected to increase is the presence of clouds in the sky, with a partially cloudy sky being forecast, with a four percent probability of precipitation.

The clouds disappear on Thursday, May 18, when 29 degrees of maximum and 16 degrees of minimum are estimated, and reappear on Friday, the 19th. With a sky clouded by high clouds, 27 degrees of maximum are expected and 15 minimum. This temperature remains until the weekend.

The maximum 27 degrees and the partly cloudy sky remained on both days. On Saturday, May 20, the minimum temperature repeats that of the previous day and the probability of precipitation increases to seven percent. On Sunday, the 21st, the minimum temperature drops to 14 degrees and the probability of rain reaches 18 percent. So perhaps you should opt for indoor activities over the weekend.
