TRIBUNNEWS.COM – The husband of the village head in Tulungagung, East Java, has been in the spotlight for a while.
His name is Riyanto (45) who claims to have found a baby in a cardboard box.
After being traced, it turned out that the baby was his own child, the result of an affair with Widayanti (30).
Riyanto admitted that he found the baby in Pojok Village, Ngantru District, Monday (20/3/2023).
The findings were deemed odd by the authorities.
Head of Public Relations of the Tulungagung Police, Iptu M Anshori, said that his party had suspected Riyanto because there were irregularities in his explanation.
“From the initial explanation, the officers were suspicious of RY’s figure. Finally, the confession was developed,” he said, quoted from Surya.co.id.

This case was immediately handled by the Women and Children Protection Unit (PPA) Satreskrim Tulungagung Police.
Riyanto was finally picked up, Monday (20/3/2023) evening.
After being interrogated, Riyanto finally admitted that he was the one who threw away the baby.
“RY finally admitted that he was the one who threw away the baby.
“From him we caught Widayanti, the mother who gave birth to the baby,” continued Anshori.
It turns out that the two of them had an affair so that Widayanti became pregnant with the fruit of her second love.
