At its annual hardware unveiling event, Apple revealed a new Apple Watch smartwatch and updated versions of its iPad tablets, although the iPhone phone will arrive later this year due to logistical problems stemming from the COVID-19 pandemic.

The company that Tim Cook runs also announced its own subscription service for virtual gym classes, Fitness Plus, as well as the long-anticipated Apple One package, which includes music services starting at $ 14.95 a month, company television and games.

The most important change in tablets, meanwhile, came from the hand of the iPad Air, which in its new version has much narrower frames than its predecessor and a larger 10.9-inch liquid retina screen.

In addition, the company of the bitten apple has moved the digital identification sensor from the bottom of the device to the on and off button, on the top, and has added for the first time a USB-C port on an iPad Air.

In terms of technical specifications, the new iPad Air uses a self-made A14 Bionic microchip with a six-core CPU, which the company says should improve performance by 40%.

For its part, the basic iPad tablet model has been updated to its eighth generation, with a 10.2-inch screen and A12 processor with a “neural engine”.
