The seven members of the band will bring their Love Yourself: Speak Yourself to the world tour in October
K-pop BTS superstars have announced that they will take their Love Yourself: Speak Yourself world tour in Riyadh. The boy band will debut in Saudi Arabia at the King Fadh International Stadium on October 11th.
While the details have yet to be revealed (even when the tickets go on sale), their show is intended to make many K-pop fans happy in the kingdom. Just recently, Super Junior performed in Jeddah with ticket sales so fast that the website they were sold to crashed.
BTS has been a huge success over the past two years. The seven-member band made history as the first Korean group to reach the top of the Billboard 200 chart – not once, but three times. They also landed on the list of the most influential people of 2019 of Time 100, created the Mattel dolls in honor of them and was offered an invitation to join the Recording Academy to help them choose the winners of the Grammy Award.
The group was formed in Seoul in 2013 and broke into the US pop market in 2017, becoming the first Korean group to win a Billboard music award. They are collaborated with the likes of Steve Aoki, Halsey and Nicki Minaj.
While there are still no plans for a section of the UAE tour, their army (the nickname for their fan base) would surely love to see them arrive in the Emirates. The group played for the last time in the United Arab Emirates in 2016 as part of KCon Abu Dhabi.
