The Kremlin has proposed not to conduct important negotiations at the United Nations headquarters in the United States
Russia could raise the issue of the transfer of important international negotiations from the United Nations headquarters to the United States due to Washington's "visa war". This was stated by the special representative of the President for international cooperation in the field of information security Andrei Krutskikh.
According to him, Washington censors the composition of the negotiating groups of other countries, taking advantage of the fact that the UN headquarters is in New York. "Recently, not only Russia, but also a number of other states, have almost constantly faced a situation in which the members of our delegations do not receive visas at all, including meetings of an open group, or receive them with a significant delay, "he noted.
Therefore, he declared the presidential envoy, Washington prevents the "functioning of the normal diplomatic process of the United Nations" and violates the obligations assumed in the foundation of the headquarters of the United Nations.
"Russia will raise a demand to transfer at least from the United States all significant international negotiations, including an open group and a group of government experts," he said.
