The Ministry of Industry and Trade’s long-term expansion program is expanding. Thanks to the new definition of a family business, more entrepreneurs in this category will now reach for advantageous financial injections. However, the ministry also introduced other changes.

They are based on the agreement of the ministry with the Czech-Moravian Guarantee and Development Bank (ČMZRB). Self-employed persons and small and medium-sized enterprises can draw interest-free loans for the acquisition of machinery, equipment, technology, real estate and their reconstruction, licenses or software.

If entrepreneurs have nothing to guarantee a commercial loan, they can get a free guarantee for a similar type of project thanks to the Expansion program.

“Thanks to the approved Expansion update, liability can also be provided to those projects that are related to the acquisition of, for example, refurbished machines or other projects by which the entrepreneur wants to support development and competitiveness or increase the technological level of his company. new products, a change in the company’s production process and the like, “said Marian Piecha, Deputy Minister for European Funds.

The interest-free loan can still be used exclusively and the development of the company. However, self-employed persons and small entrepreneurs can also use the guarantee to finance operational needs. These include, for example, the acquisition of materials, supplies, but also wages, energy sentiment, rent or the payment of supplier-customer invoices.

“Until now, the operating guarantee had to be directly related to a specific investment project and could not be provided if the entrepreneur did not make a new investment. After abolishing this condition from August 11, the guarantee can be used directly without this restriction, for example to guarantee operational financing of entrepreneurs,” Jirásek, Chairman of the Board of Directors and CEO of ČMZRB.
