the new beta version for Insiders now integrates chat with Teams

Microsoft has just started rolling out a new preview version of Windows 11 for members of the Windows Insider program. This version differs from the first beta by the arrival of the Teams communication program and its integration into the new interface design.
Thus, it can be launched directly from the taskbar and allows you to quickly start individual or group conversations.

Microsoft specifies, however, that audio or video conversations, as well as screen sharing are not yet available. On the other hand, the publisher has provided practical functions such as a response area directly accessible in message notifications, synchronization of contacts with Skype or Outlook and sending links by email or SMS to start a conversation on Teams .

The architecture of the program has been completely redesigned to integrate perfectly into the new interface of Windows 11.

You can also send animated emojis in Teams, include polls, assign tasks, schedule appointments, and view photos, and other file formats.

The interface benefits from rounded corners and adapts according to the theme of the system. It is thus possible to opt for a dark or light theme.

Microsoft insists on the availability of Teams on many systems: Windows, but also macOS (where the application is a calamity, by the way), Linux, Android and iOS. Teams can also be used with a simple web browser.

Also to discover in video:

The version of the program offered to Insiders only works in English and does not yet offer all the functions advertised. But it gives a good idea of the integration of Teams in Windows 11 and the importance that Microsoft now attaches to it.
