Polish singer Roxana Vengiel won a victory in the international Junior Eurovision Song Contest – 2018 competition. The last 20 participants took part.
The final of the Junior Eurovision Song Contest 2018, which was held in Belarus on Sunday 25 November, ended in Minsk. The winner of the competition was the representative of Poland – the 13-year-old singer Roxana Veghel, who performed with the composition Anyone I Want To Be.

The competition jury did not put Roxane particularly at the top, Vegel was not even among the top three. The girl was able to win thanks to the vote of the public (it is known that the winner is selected based on the total results of the public vote and the votes of the jury).
This year a record number of representatives from various countries has arrived at the competition. A 13-year-old Anna Filipchuk created the song "Invincibles" from Russia in Belarus. The actress managed to take only the 10th place.

At the end of the competition there were 20 participants. According to the voting results, Vegel won 215 points, beating Angelina (France), who took second place, with 12 votes. The third place was taken by the representative of Australia with 201 points in the general classification.
Last year, Russia won the Junior Eurovision Song Contest. The Russian woman Polina Bogussevich had three points ahead of the Georgia representative. The third, like this year, was Australia, reports RBC.
