TEMPO.CO, Jakarta – Legal expert Yusril Ihza Mahendra says that the persistence of the Prabowo Subianto campaign team in rejecting the results of the election and their reluctance to present legal cases of the Constitutional Court will not delegitimize the imminent elected president.
"It will be legitimate once appointed by the General Electoral Commission (KPU), also if it is decided by the Constitutional Court," Yusril said in Jakarta on Wednesday.
Yusril claims that Prabowo's attempts will be completely useless, they will only continue to announce their claims of an electoral victory. "To claim to win the election to become president but is not inaugurated by the MPR, it would be useless."

He claims that the people who accuse the election of being rigged must be the ones who prove that they actually exist. "Other people should not refute this, we must try such frauds," says Yusril, who says he would adhere to legal principles.
Starting from the request for power of people by Amien Rais, Yusril Ihza he said that the history of the world for the revolution or the power of the people still revolves around the constitutional process. "In a country's internal revolution, people's power is just a way to demand change," but once this change occurs, it should still go through a process approved by the constitution as the reform phase of Indonesia's 1998.
