The Rolling Stones will return to the Barcelona Olympic Stadium but not to perform but rather they will be present in the FC Barcelona shirt in their match with Real Madrid on October 28. As a result of the collaboration agreement between Barça and Spotify, the logo Tongue and Lips by The Rolling Stones replaces the music platform’s advertising on the ‘blaugrana’ background.

In this way, their ‘satanic majesties’ replace other artists who have embodied their logos on the Barça kit in their confrontations with Madrid. Last year in the match at the Santiago Bernabéu, the Blaugrana club wore an exclusive t-shirt with the Drake logo while in the match at the Camp Nou on March 19 they wore one of ‘Motomami’album by Rosalía.

For this occasion, the famous logo was chosen to represent Mick Jagger, Keith Richards, Ronnie Wood. It can be seen on both the men’s and women’s teams and serves to celebrate the release of The Rolling Stones’ first album of original content in 18 years, ‘Hackney Diamonds‘, on October 20.

The new album is a summary of the British band’s 60-year career. In addition to showing it off at the match, starting October 23, a limited edition will go on sale in the official FC Barcelona store. Specifically, 1,899 shirts are on sale, an amount inspired by the year the club was founded. In addition, the club will put on sale a very special collection of 22 shirts signed by the 11 starting players.

Likewise, FC Barcelona will share a special edition of the popular Barça Matchday playlist on Spotify with the best rock songs to motivate players and fans in the moments before the match, which will include music by The Rolling Stones.
