Samsung has announced that it will lift the veil on its new smartphone on December 10th, in less than a week. The Galaxy A8 will be the first phone of the Korean brand to exploit a type of Infinity-O screen, which means that a hole replaces the traditional notch. Directly pierced on the screen, allows the integration of photographic sensors. And we know how much Samsung hates the notch.
Samsung Galaxy A8s against Huawei Nova 4?
Yesterday, Huawei revealed that it would present Nova 4 on December 17th. The smartphone uses the same principle of hole on the screen rather than the notch, so it seems to have many similarities with its Korean counterpart, at least in terms of design. In fact, the hole is installed on the left of the borderless screen.
His Korean competitor seems to have waited until the last moment, in order to have the presentation date, to reveal his own. After this model, Samsung will also present Galaxy S10 Plus, a phone that should be presented in the first quarter of 2019.
As for the technical specifications, the Samsung Galaxy A8 should send a SoC Snapdragon 710, 6 GB of RAM and 128 GB of internal memory for a 6.4-inch screen. It is also possible that the manufacturer will remove the door jack so that its phone is thinner, but this has not been confirmed. For its part, Huawei Nova 4 has a Kirin 980 processor, 4 to 6 GB of RAM and 128 GB of internal memory. It should have two sensors placed in the front, for two in the back.
If the respective submission dates have been announced, it is not yet known when they will be on sale and if they will be in France. Samsung has won the presentation competition, but both producers have yet to market their respective smartphones.
