The continuous leaks of information are giving clues as to what the Galaxy S10 would be, Samsung's flagship phone, which makes everyone very aware. Only a few weeks after its official presentation, it was discovered that the phone will bring the wireless connection to the highest level thanks to its compatibility with WiFi 6.

This news was announced by Droid Life, through some files of the Federal Communications Commission (FCC). The documents show that the Galaxy S10 and Galaxy S10 + will use 802.11ax WiFi, known as WiFi 6. This would mean many improvements in surfing the Internet.

The advantages of WiFi 6

Think of those times when you connected to a free wireless network, which tend to be very slow for the number of people connected to it, which generates a battery and the inability to surf the Internet without interruption.

WiFi 6 promises to eliminate all these problems, providing the most durable and fastest Internet connection. The Wi-Fi Alliance presented it last year and is expected to become the new connectivity experience with more efficient networks that save battery power. The novelty is that it has more coverage and coverage than conventional Wi-Fi networks, this allows you to reduce congestion and at the same time increase speed, to the point where you can play 8K video.

Its secret lies in the fact that WiFi 6 allows connected devices to reach a maximum of 5 gigabits per second (Gbps). Since most mobile phones have two antennas, one at 2.4 GHz and the other at 5 GHz, the speed may vary; so that the first one reaches 574 megabits per second (Mbps) and the second one, 2402 Mbps. In theory it would have about 2,900 Gbps, which exceeds the current speed of the optical fiber.

It was believed that the official presentation of the Galaxy S10 would take place on February 25 at the Mobile World Congress in Barcelona. However, the South Korean company has sent out invitations to the Galaxy Unpacked event to be held in San Francisco on the 20th of this month. There are only a few days to see this new generation of smartphone debut.

WiFi 6 will not be implemented only on smartphones, but many homes will be able to rely on this technology. On the other hand, Samsung and its innovations are leaving more than one amazed: the last thing you knew about the brand is its new 1TB capacity memory.
