The source codes of the games CS: GO and Team Fortress 2 were in the public domain. All shooter files were published on the 4chan portal.
According to the source, the archive turned out to be old versions of the games: Operation Hydra was installed in CS: GO, and Jungle Inferno update in Team Fortress 2. The leak came from the environment of the youtuber Valve News Network, who was one of the first to announce the company’s work on a VR game in the Half-Life series and much more. The sources of the games have already found information about the canceled Half-Life 2: Episode 3 and 4.
Users believe that now that modders have full access to games, new versions of various cheats will appear on the network. VNN blogger declined to comment, and Valve has not yet responded to the leak.
