The existence of a parallel universe where time runs backwards made headlines in media around the world, as an official report from NASA. However, so far it was not formalized, but it was not ruled out either.
An organization of 100 journalists were intrigued to corroborate this information. They are part of the Global Network of Fact-Chekers, in charge of the analysis, verification and search for news.
Upon delving into the subject, they discovered that NASA had never confirmed the viral news, but that its origin dates back to an article published on April 8 of this year in the specialized magazine. New Scientist.
“We may have discovered a parallel universe that goes back in time,” it reads in the headline of the note. Although the article was published by scientists, they are not related to NASA at all.
The author of the news that revolutionized the audience last Tuesday, May 19, was the professor of physics at the University of Hawaii, Peter Gorham. The scientist is part of the project called the Antarctic Transitive Impulse Antenta (Anita), which led him to think about his hypothesis that surprised the whole world.
Everything arose when, from an experiment, Anita’s team detected neutrinos that did not come from the sky but from the earth’s ground. This was totally impossible. Among the explanations they sought to argue what happened, it was suggested that subatomic particles have traveled from a parallel universe.
