The United States has canceled charges against Chinese Huawei and CFO Meng Wanzhou

WASHINGTON (Reuters) – The United States Department of Justice has canceled two charges against the Chinese Huawei Technologies Co Ltd yesterday. [HWT.UL], many of its subsidiaries and its chief financial officer Meng Wanzhou, in a couple of cases accusing the company of everything, from banking fraud and telegraphs to hinder justice and conspiring to steal trade secrets from T-Mobile US Inc.

The accusations increase the pressure on Huawei, the world's largest telecommunications equipment manufacturer, by the US government, which is trying to prevent US companies from buying Huawei routers and switches and pushing their allies to do the same.
