The US regulator for aviation safety has banned some Apple devices on board because of concerns over the safety of the batteries of some devices produced by the US technology giant, according to Bloomberg Network.
The American network, according to its website, Wednesday, according to which the Authority has banned laptops, "MacBook Pro", aboard flights, after Apple recently announced that some models containing batteries are flammable. This happens a few days after a similar decision announced by the European Aviation Safety Agency.
In a statement, the Federal Aviation Administration of the United States stated that it was "aware of the batteries recalled by Apple, which are used in some Apple MacBook Pro laptops" and stated that it had alerted the major US airlines of the matter.
The aeronautical administration has warned the airlines to follow the security measures enacted since 2016 regarding the electronic products that have been recalled by their companies due to battery problems, which means that the computers in the block list do not will be accepted in hand luggage or in the belly of the aircraft.
