The US embassy in Iraq has been the target of a missile attack, AFP reported, citing security sources.
At least two missiles have landed in the green zone of the Iraqi capital Baghdad, which houses the US embassy and diplomatic missions of other countries.
The remaining missiles fell in residential areas adjacent to the Green Zone.
There was also a missile attack in Iraq on February 15, when a military base with foreign troops in Erbil, the capital of Iraqi Kurdistan, was hit by missiles, reminds AFP.
There was also a rocket attack on Saturday at an air base in Balad, north of Baghdad. At least one Iraqi was injured in the attack, an employee of an American company that takes care of the management of F-16 fighters, BTA notes.
