A thinner says that almost all of her friends turned against her after losing 170 pounds and fell from a size 28 to a size zero
Jen Beegle, 36, is happy with her new figure after moving from 300 to 130 pounds following bariatric surgery in 2015.
The procedure reduced the size of the stomach to the size of an egg and helped it lose weight by drastically reducing the amount of food it can eat.
But the domestic educator, from West Salem, Ohio, says she is shocked to lose about 15 close friends, many of whom she had known for years, after beating the bulge.
Jen said Metro United States: "It's really sad. I've probably lost ninety percent of my friends. I don't know why.
Why are fathers so bad to text?
"They became mean, they stopped talking to me. It's not because I changed. My heart is the same. My exterior has changed, but my interior is the same."
He added: "They'd make fun of me and take me because of what I'm eating. They said things like" Oh, you're too good to eat pizza now? "I can't eat cheese or carbohydrates anymore, from the surgery, because they make me feel bad.
"It is interesting to note that it was not always my older friends who reacted badly. The problem with my thinner friends was that I started getting more attention. You always look thin if you go out with less attractive friends, and I think that some of them resent the fact that I was starting to attract attention too. "
The mother of two says she loves her new figure and healthy lifestyle, which saw her exchange oatmeal pizza with flaxseed, tuna lunches and healthy meat dinners.
She started running after losing weight, which helped her lose weight over her 180 pounds target weight of 50 pounds. Jen is thrilled with how much energy she has to devote to her children, aged six and nine.

But he also revealed how he constantly feels cold since he loses most of his body fat, leaving it too cold to wear the skimpy clothes he had dreamed of wearing while obese.
Jen, who had a $ 4,500 belly to remove the skin after losing weight, said: "I am always cold, which was very unexpected. This is the superficial part of the intervention.
& # 39; All these clothes that are cute and fashionable that you couldn't wear for life, I wanted them totally.
"Now I have them, except I can't wear them where someone can see them, because I'm always so damn cold and I have to wear a jacket over them."
Jen said that before her intervention she had always been overweight and believes that her inability to lose weight was genetic.

He ate a balanced diet, sticks to portions of a reasonable size and exercises regularly in the gym, lifting weights and training hard on the exercise bike.
Jen suffers from a rare kidney condition called Alport Syndrom that puts her at risk for diabetes. He says that going on extreme and low-calorie diets was "the only way in my whole life where I could see the change of scale".
He added: "I was doing everything healthy people told me to do, but it didn't work."
Eventually he had surgery in September 2015 after seeing a picture of him next to his father, who he always considered much bigger than her, and realizing that they were almost the same size.
Jen spent the first month in agonizing pain, but quickly started losing weight. He started training five times a week, quickly surpassing his 180-pound weight goal. Jen was stunned 18 months later, in the spring of 2017, when she realized she was a zero for pants.
He recalled: "I'm not going to lie. I was so excited. I was wearing pants size 28 to be a size zero. It doesn't mean anything – literally it means nothing, it's the smallest size there is."
& # 39; I would like to go shopping with and I would like to say "Is it right? Is it right?" I didn't think I was really that small. I don't fall small. I feel great as before. It is the body dysmorphism. "
Jen says that losing weight has helped her overcome decades of bullying about her size – and has also given her the confidence to end her unhappy marriage.
He said: "C & # 39; it's very judgmental when you're fat. Either you're completely invisible or people don't like you.
& # 39; When I was in middle school, I really liked a boy. When his friends discovered they said "Come to the dinner table, he wants to talk to you".
& # 39; When I went there it was not, and I said "Where's it?"
"They were all laughing, and they said" He hides under the table, because you're too fat to sit down there. "
& # 39; He crushed me. It broke my heart. I always went out with friends. I was very sociable … the boys always came to me, but it was always the number of my friends. It has never been because they liked me.
And explaining how his weight loss helped her escape a bad relationship. Jen continued: "I realized that my marriage wasn't really working. I started loving myself more, if that makes sense. When you're fat, you're invisible, you don't love yourself.
& # 39; I always thought I couldn't do better, and my husband always told me that nobody wants me, and I believed him.
"I thought so because I was fat and nobody wants a fat girl.
Jen, who is still shocked when men try to hit her, added: "I started losing weight, and it's not like there was a boy waiting for me, or I was cheating, or something.
"It was only when you started to understand that you are capable of doing it yourself. Even if there is no one else in my life, I am in agreement, because I am happy with myself and I am happy to be with only. "
