This is the most accessible Jeep Renegade with a 1.3 turbo engine

The Jeep Renegade incorporated the new 1.3 Turbo AT6 entry-level version, which includes the lesser equipment available and the turbo engine. The group is present in Brazil, where the SUV is produced for the region.

The new alternative of the compact model is added to the other versions, with which it shares the turbo engine; in the neighboring country already there are no options with the 1.8 atmospheric engine (without turbo) 130 CV still present in Argentina. In the future, will we have an access version with turbo?

What the new version of the Renegade offers

On the outside, the new variant of the SUV has a 17-inch alloy wheels along with black mirrors and door handles, while its interior includes a 7-inch touch screen for the multimedia system.

The equipment also offers manual air conditioning, on-board computer, cruise control, fabric upholstery, electronic parking brake and Traction Control+, to be used on low-adherence surfaces.

The safety of the 1.3 Turbo AT6 contains stability control, six airbags (front, side and curtain), rear camera and Full LED front lights. Despite being the most accessible option, it also offers autonomous emergency brakinglane departure warning and driver fatigue detector.

The most accessible Renegade mechanics

The entire range of the SUV available in Brazil uses the T270 gasoline engine with four cylinders, 1.3 liters and turbo, which delivers up to 185 horsepower -thanks to the presence of ethanol- and 270 Nm of torque

In the new version, the engine is joined with the six-speed automatic gearbox and front wheel drive. On the Renegade Trailhawk, it is associated with the nine-speed automatic gearbox and 4×4 drive.

In Argentina, the 1.3 turbo engine is present in the versions Longitude, Serie-S (the newest in the range) and Trailhawk, in which it generates 175 horsepower and 270 Nm. In addition, there are automatic boxes with six or nine changes and front or integral wheel drive. The range also has the Sport 1.8 versions with 130 CV together with the manual gearbox with five gears or the automatic with six changes.
