Once again, none of the 18 participating European countries broke the maximum jackpot of 90 million euros. This will give them another chance to get rich in one fell swoop next week, as announced by Westlotto on Friday evening.
The winning numbers 8, 32, 34, 46 and 49 and the two Euro 3 and 5 numbers were extracted from Helsinki.
The main prize was therefore not distributed ten times in a row and will be again next week at 90 million euros. The Euro Jackpot is legally limited on this sum. Further bets form a new jackpot.
The € 22 million second prize saw three new millionaires on Friday, all from Germany. According to Westlotto, the winners come from Bavaria, Lower Saxony and North Rhine-Westphalia. Everyone receives 7.5 million coupons.
More recently, in July, two players from Hesse and Saxony-Anhalt managed to break the € 90 million jackpot and share their profits.
The jackpot possibility in euros is 1 to 95 million. Significantly lower are the odds of winning the classic lottery on Wednesday and Saturday ("6 out of 49"). Here is the jackpot perspective at only 1 to 140 million.
