Tielemans to assist, Denayer injured, Mertens back

Like every weekend, the Red Devils have set foot on lawns all over Europe. Some have shone, others less, quantified return on these services.

In the Premier League, Youri Tielemans had his second assist of the season but failed to win Leicester against Burnley.

In Serie A, our Devils have had various fortunes. Alexis Saelemaekers was assisting on AC Milan’s victorious goal. Zinho Vanheusden did not leave the bench with the Genoa while Dries Mertens was back in the Napoli squad after his shoulder injury.

Jan Vertonghen distinguished himself in the Portuguese league by assisting in the opener for Benfica in Lisbon’s 1-3 victory at Vitoria Guimaraes.

The unfortunate of the weekend is playing in Ligue 1. Jason Denayer had to leave his Lyon teammates after just 19 minutes, suffering from a muscle problem. Disturbing less than two weeks from Belgium – France.

But Ligue 1 has not only brought negative effects for our Devils. Thomas foket scored his first goal of the season in Reims’ victory against Nantes (3-1).
