Titans of the Gold Coast halfway with coach Garth Brennan


The Gold Coast Titans are separating with coach Garth Brennan with immediate effect.

The Titans, who sit at the bottom of the rankings after 17 rounds, will begin the search for a new coach, however, the assistant coaches of the club should take over in the meantime along with Mal Meninga.

An announcement is expected in the next 24 hours. Meninga should have presented his findings from an internal review at a board meeting on Monday morning, however, Brennan and the titans seem to have agreed to part ways.

The titans have yet to make an official announcement.

Queensland coach Kevin Walters and St Helens coach Justin Holbrook are the forerunners of the work left by Brennan's departure.
