Toddler flung out of stroller: Bus driver has to brake sharply – VW driver escapes – Police & Justice – Berlin

In a BVG bus, a toddler was seriously injured last Tuesday afternoon in Schöneberg after the bus driver had to initiate emergency braking.

As the police announced, a VW driver changed the lane in front of the bus on the main road to turn into the Eisenacher road. With sharp braking, the bus driver, who according to witnesses just wanted to continue from a stop, could prevent a collision. At the age of about six months, a small boy was thrown from his stroller against a handrail. He came to the hospital with head injuries. The VW driver fled. According to police, witnesses reported that the previously unknown driver had noticed the accident. (Tsp)
