On Saturday, eleven foreigners tried to get to Poland illegally through the border with Belarus. They were citizens of Eritrea, Syria, Yemen, Algeria, Morocco and Togo, the Border Guard said in a report on the past day.

All cases took place in Podlaskie Voivodeship, on the border sections, the protection of which is the responsibility of the posts in Narewka, Dubicze Cerkiewne and Mielnik – informed the Border Guard.

On Sunday, May 15, 27 foreigners tried to enter Polish territory illegally. This group included citizens of Tunisia and the Congo, among others. In turn, on Saturday, May 7, they tried on the territory of Poland get to illegally, among others citizens of Mali and Cuba.
