The prominent “Let’s Dance” candidates struggled from round to round for around three months. The long-awaited finale of the RTL dance show is now taking place on Friday evening. The only Swiss candidate of season 13 is there: Luca Hänni. The singer and ESC star made it into the top 3 alongside “Ninja Warrior Germany” champion Moritz Hans (24) and circus artist Lili Paul-Roncalli (22).
Preparations for the show are currently in full swing. The finalists have to perform three different choreographies with their professional dance partners – and studying them is extremely time-consuming, as Luca Hänni reveals compared to 20 minutes. “Training has never been so hard as in the final week. We only have four days for three dances, »says the 25-year-old. With his dance partner Christina Luft (30), he trains at least ten hours a day this week.
Motivated in the final round
Luca is glad that it is not so difficult for him to learn a choreography. “I can quickly pick up things and then implement them.” But he is also aware of the strengths of his competition. «As an athlete, Moritz is definitely in better shape than I am. And of course Lili is much more flexible as an artist. » Either way: Luca has been concentrating on the hope that everything will work out in the final and that he will deliver a great last show with Christina.
In the semifinals, the couple convinced with Jive, Tango and Cha-Cha-Cha and got the best jury rating of the week. In the live final on Friday evening, Luca and Christina will now perform Quickstep, Salsa and Freestyle. «We will see if it will be enough for a victory. No matter what comes out, I’m incredibly grateful that I’ve made it this far. »
The final of “Let’s Dance” will run on RTL on Friday, May 22nd at 8:15 pm.
