(ANSA) – WASHINGTON, SEPTEMBER 15 – The coronavirus vaccine could be ready within three or four weeks: US President Donald Trump said in a town hall in Philadelphia. If so, the vaccine would arrive before the US elections on November 3.
Trump has denied that he has downplayed the coronavirus threat, despite the audio of the interview with reporter Bob Woodward admitting otherwise. “My action was strong but I didn’t want to panic people,” he said. The US president has also continue to question the use of the mask, recommended by his own task force: “Some people think it is not useful.” It is the first time that the tycoon has answered voters’ questions: only 21 to comply with anti-covid restrictions.
