US President Donald Trump used a limousine and a seven-car parade to cover a distance of 250 meters (230 meters) and meet George W. Bush's family, reports The Washington Post.
Trump and his wife, Melania, arrived at Blair House's official residence for White House guests on the evening of November 4 and spent 23 minutes with the Bush family. At the end of the meeting, the president and his wife returned home, accompanied by a motorcade. For a short trip I had to block the road and use the presidential limousine.
Blair House is in front of the White House. As the publication points out, Trump's predecessor, Barack Obama, usually traveled this distance on foot.
The White House consultants did not respond to WP because Trump used the limousine and if this were due to security issues.
