Trump denied the NYT data on 120,000 soldiers in the Middle East

US President Donald Trump has refuted the New York Times message that US officials are discussing a plan to send up to 120,000 troops to the Middle East to counter any attack or accelerate the development of nuclear weapons by the ;Iran. Reported by Reuters.

"I think this is a fake news, okay?" Said Trump, noting that they had not planned a similar transaction. "If we do, we will send more troops," he added.

Trump promised Iran "suffering" in response to possible moves against the United States

Previously, the New York Times announced the Pentagon's plan to send 120,000 soldiers to the Middle East. According to the newspaper, supporters of this strategy were the "hawks" of the US administration, led by presidential advisor on national security John Bolton. The plan, however, does not provide for a military invasion of Iran, which could require significantly more soldiers, the NYT said.
