The rain It will appear this Tuesday in many areas of Spain due to the influence of two Atlantic fronts, while temperatures will drop in the east of the peninsula and more than 20 degrees are only expected in the coastal provinces and places in the Guadalquivir and Ebro valleys.
The prediction of the State Meteorological Agency (Aemet), collected by Servimedia, indicates that a first front will finish leaving showers in the northeast of the peninsula and the Balearic Islands after doing so this morning. These precipitations will tend to decrease throughout the day and clearings will open in the sky.
On the other hand, a new front will penetrate from Galicia with precipitation on the peninsular Atlantic slope, more abundant in western Galicia, where it could be locally persistent.
The Aemet has activated the yellow notice -risk- due to heavy rain of at least 20 liters per square meter in one hour until noon on the islands of Mallorca and Menorca, and due to persistent rainfall of 40 liters per square meter in 12 hours until four in the afternoon in the southwest of A Coruña and the entire province of Pontevedra.
There is also a yellow warning for very strong gusts of 80 to 90 km/h in areas of Asturias (southwest, Cantabrian Mountains and Picos de Europa), Cantabria (Liébana) and Lugo (A Mariña), and for bad seas in A Coruña and Pontevedra .
