A woman and a minor have died and three other people have been injured in the collision between two cars in Llanes, as reported by the Civil Guard and the Emergency Service of the Principality of Asturias (SEPA). The events took place this Wednesday around 7:00 p.m. on the AS-115 highway, specifically at kilometer 3,940, near the parish of Rales.
One of the injured is another minor who is in very serious condition and that he was evacuated to Central University Hospital of Asturias (HUCA), in Oviedo, in the medicalized helicopter of the Asturias Fire Department. The other two injured are a woman who was transferred to the Arriondas Hospital, with a reserved prognosis in the absence of more evidence, in the Llanes basic life support ambulance, and a man who was slightly injured.
The head-on collision occurred between a Citroen C1 and a Toyota Rav-4, according to the armed institute, which is investigating the causes of the accident. The two deceased, a woman and a minor, were released by SEPA Firefighters from a vehicle in which the minor, who was very seriously injured, was also traveling in the back.
Both the injured woman with a reserved prognosis and the man who was slightly injured were traveling in the other car involved in the accident and got out of it on their own.
